GRAVEWORM Announces Lineup Changes

January 24, 2012

Italian dark metal outfit GRAVEWORM has announced that founding member and guitar player Stefan Unterpertinger will return to the band after 10 years. He replaces Thomas Orgler, who left the group for personal reasons. Keyboard player Sabine Mair also exited GRAVEWORM due to personal reasons.

Commented GRAVEWORM vocalist Stefano Fiori: "It's a pity not to have Thomas and Sabine in the band anymore. But, of course, we wish them all the best for their future. All the more we are glad to have Stefan back in the band. We practice hardly and we feel that there's still good chemistry between us. With Stefan, a GRAVEWORM founding member is back, so, welcome home Stefan!"

"See No Future", the latest video from GRAVEWORM, can be viewed below. The clip was filmed in Venlo, Netherlands by Maurice from LEGION OF THE DAMNED.

"See No Future" comes off GRAVEWORM's new album, "Fragments Of Death", which was release last October via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2009's "Diabolical Figures" was recorded in July 2011 at the Dream Sound Studios in Munich, Germany and was mastered by Jan Vacik. According to a press release, "The songs are about the death in its thousand faces, which is also reflected in the album title and cover art. Musically, the album can be seen as a mixture of the best of the last four records, with some old-school roots and definitive darker than its predecessors."
